FLORIDA DEP PROPOSES TO CLOSE 53 OF FLORIDA'S 160 STATE PARKS.

This is very, very sad. Obviously, we know that money in Florida is tight, but closing half of the state parks is not the best answer. Remember the post with photos from San Felasco? That park is on the list. If you are willing to pay a little more per visit or spend time volunteering, let people know. Let's get to work writing letters to our legislature.
